Domino! More Beautiful Than Barbie!

I like to think one of the reasons you continue to stay on this mailing list is the infrequency of updates. I try not to bother you for any reason, ever, but I’ve been assured this is worth the bother. This painting sold last year at LABSpace in Hillsdale, NY. It then traveled to LA and now adorns a wall of actors Sam Lerner and Olivia Sui’s home after a magic redo by Studio Keeta.

I've been naming paintings after songs that play in the studio or come to mind and get stuck to the painting. Holly was one of my better friends in high-school, she was new, grew up in California and had more advanced taste in music, fashion and drugs than the rest of my friends. She knew what a rave was before raves showed up in our neck of the woods. We went to Lollapalooza and the Horde Tour together. The Jesus Lizard’s More Beautiful Than Barbie was one of our favorite songs.
